What is green PP ply?
Green PP ply is plywood faced on both sides with a solid green polypropylene sheet bonded to a WBP core. The plastic facing is non-absorbent and chemically inert with cement, making it a high-reuse alternative to phenolic film faced plywood.

How many times can green PP ply be reused?
Typically over 10 concrete pours with proper edge sealing and normal site handling.

Is green PP ply better than film faced plywood?
For repetitive formwork, yes. The higher sheet price is recovered with more number of recycles. For short jobs or one-off pours, phenolic film faced plywood remains more economical.

Does green PP ply need release agent?
Very little and many sites use none at all. The polypropylene surface does not bond with cement, so panels strip clean.

Is green PP ply suitable for Oman’s climate?
Yes. The PP face blocks moisture entirely and the WBP phenolic core glue is weather and boil proof, so panels hold up in Gulf heat and humidity.
